Do I qualify for an apartment?

Applicants must be 62 years of age or have a doctor-verified handicap/disability, and be income eligible.

How do I apply?

An application must be completed and submitted to the business office. Pre-eligibility is determined at the time of application. You can find an application here >>

What does my rent include?

Your rent will include payment of all utilities (water, gas, electric, sewer, and trash). You are responsible for payment of your telephone, internet, and television cable.

What appliances are provided?

Your apartment is furnished with a stove and refrigerator.

Does Friendship House provide any furnished apartments?

All apartments are unfurnished.

Is Friendship House a smoke-free facility?

Yes, Friendship House is a non-smoking community.

Are pets allowed at Friendship House?

Yes, you are allowed one pet. Dogs cannot be larger than 25 lbs and must be no less than one year old. Both dogs and cats must be spayed or neutered and documentation of current vaccinations is required. There is a $300 pet security deposit required for dogs and cats. Birds, fish, and rodents (commonly kept as pets- rabbits, hamsters, and gerbils) are also allowed.
