The mission of the Tippecanoe County Council on Aging is to provide facilities, programs and services for and with active older adults to assist them in finding the highest quality of life that includes good health, social interaction with others of all ages, access to needed goods and services, and a safe living environment that encourages and increases their independence in their community.
Adult Day Services provide accepting and safe interactive day programs for frail adults who need socialization and also for those with long-term chronic diseases or other disabling conditions, such as depression, diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, emphysema, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia. Daily activities and / or a structured therapeutic program designed to stimulate and challenge the body and mind.

Friendship House Community is a HUD subsidized facility providing seniors age 62 or older and mobility impaired individuals with housing facilities and services specifically designed to meet the needs of those individuals.
